Customer Service / Front of House
As part of the Customer Service – Front of House team, you are often the first impression customers have of our business. Your role is to create a welcoming, professional experience—whether interacting in person, over the phone, or through email. You guide customers through placing orders, help them choose products, handle transactions, and support the flow of accurate information to our design and production teams. You also play a key part in keeping the showroom clean and inviting.Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Interaction
Greet and assist customers in person, on the phone, and via email with professionalism, warmth, and product knowledge. Maintain a calm, helpful demeanor at all times.
• Order Entry & Accuracy
Properly and accurately input all orders into BizWizard, following shop protocols for details, spelling, and deadlines. Ensure the customer’s intent is clearly communicated for the next phase of production.
• Product & Design Guidance
Help customers choose the right product for their needs and guide them through the initial design phase according to our shop style and brand standards.
• Transaction Handling
Process customer payments with accuracy, including credit, check, and cash transactions. Enter items into the register correctly, count cash, and give exact change as needed.
• Showroom & Front Desk Maintenance
Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually appealing. Ensure the front counter remains tidy and presentable throughout the day.
• Customer Satisfaction & Professionalism
Maintain a respectful and upbeat attitude with every customer interaction. Resolve minor issues when possible and escalate larger concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Team Communication
Clearly communicate customer requests and changes to the design and production teams to keep orders on track and reduce errors.
• Other Duties as Needed
Assist with general shop responsibilities such as cleaning, restocking, organizing, or helping wherever support is needed.
