The TuTu Trot

The 3^rd Annual Tutu Trot Color Run 5k Run/Walk in Hammock Bay To Benefit A Bed for Me and Silver Sands School.
 
The Tutu Trot is a public 5k Run/Walk on April 29, 2023 in beautiful Hammock Bay in Freeport, FL benefitting A Bed for Me and Silver Sands School. All entries are $35 and include a t-shirt and one raffle entry for a three night stay in Destin or Panama City Beach gifted to you from RealJoy Vacations! You do not have to be present to win. If you don't want to race, but want a chance to win, you can buy tickets to the raffle without having to run in the TuTu Trot. There will be custom age group award medals for both the 5K Run and Walk. There will be a professional timing system run by International Running Co. The course starts out and ends on flat and fast neighborhood streets. The middle of the course is on Hammock Bay's wooded trails and a path around the Freeport Sports Complex. We start on the Y in the street in between the Hammock Bay General Store and the Clubhouse. As you arrive at the event address, traffic control will direct you to free parking. Racers and families will be able to capture the fun in the EPIC photo booth, and enjoy breakfast provided by Mozeys and Rise & Swine. Over at the General Store, The Corey Fernandez Band will be rockin' away.
 
Don’t forget your tutu! Get your camera ready. It will be a colorful event with the color power added along with our tutu's.

The Tutu Trot mission is: To run and walk in tutus together outside in the fresh air as a community, while raising funds for charities that are designed to benefit, ameliorate, or uplift mankind mentally, morally, or physically.

About A Bed for Me: is a nonprofit 501c3 organization providing beds for children who would otherwise be sleeping on the floor or inadequate spaces.
 
About Silver Sands School: Silver Sands School is a Special Day School that provides educational services to students who, because of their mental functioning levels, require services beyond those offered by other special educational programs in regular schools.  Silver Sands School serves approximately 130 students with disabilities ranging in age from 3 to 22 from Okaloosa and Walton counties.
