Description
(Attendance is mandatory for both days.) This course is approved for Certification for Dental Radiographers per Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64B5-9.011. Instructor: Julie M. Nelson, CDA, RDH, BSDH, Director of Dental Assisting, H. Glenn Bixby Teaching Chair, Faculty website Continuing Education Units: 14 contact hours Radiographic techniques and safety factors will be stressed. Students are required to obtain materials, complete assigned lessons and pretests prior to the first day of class. The first day includes lecture, discussions and a final exam. The second day provides hands-on clinical experience with mannequins to demonstrate correct anatomical radiographic positioning and enhancement of x-ray technique.
