The City of Niceville invites residents, businesses, community leaders, and visitors to join us for the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new Old Town Landing Dock and Pier, marking an exciting milestone in the ongoing revitalization of the Niceville Landing area.

The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on October 6 at 10:00 a.m.

The dock and pier project was made possible through funding from the Niceville Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Okaloosa County Tourist Development Funds, and the Florida Boating Improvement Grant from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
This project is the first stage of completion in the multi-phase CRA plan for a comprehensive Niceville Landing Rehabilitation Project.

“We are grateful to the partners who made this project possible,” said Mayor and CRA Board Member Daniel Henkel.

“The new dock and pier will create a place where our community can come together, enjoy our waterfront, and make lasting memories. At the same time, this investment will help bring more activity to Old Town Landing and create new opportunities for local commerce.”

The event is open to the public. No RSVP is required.
