Description
Chinese New Year has been celebrated for over 4000 years. The Chinese New Year celebrated today is derived from ancient celebrations marking the end of a long winter and an anticipated spring. The Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year is a time for reunions of family and friends enveloped in bright colors and traditions. This celebration for the students of Niceville High School is to promote better understanding of the Chinese language and have a hands-on culture experience. The evening’s program includes a video on Chinese New Year, Chinese verbal presentations, songs and others. We encourage you to come and look forward to seeing you! You can order tickets online on the NHS Chinese Program website nhschinese.weebly.com. These tickets can be picked up at “Will Call” at the event door February 3rd at 5:30 PM.
