11:00 a.m. Award ceremony for the posters and essay contest winners. 12:00 p.m. History Sandwiched-In: “Colonial Paper Currency” presentation by Tom McKnight 1:00 p.m. Official Community Ribbon Cutting of the "America 250" exhibit. Mayor Daniel Henkel will officiate. 1:15 p.m. "Life, Liberty and Hard Rations” presentation by Travis Souther, dressed in colonial attire, including a demonstration of a firearm used in the Revolutionary War. 1:15 p.m. Presentation by Travis Southr in colonial attire to talk about “Life, Liberty and Hard Rations” and also demonstration of a firearm used in the Revolutionary War. 2:00 p.m. Karl Eschmann: Informal discussion about the battles of Lexington and Concord Volunteers or docents will be dressed in colonial dresses or outfits and lead tours of the exhibit, Celebrate America 250! The Revolution.
