SUMMARY:Veterans Yoga Project's Veterans Gratitude Week Yoga Class
DESCRIPTION:Northwest Florida State College\, Building 400 Room 132/133 Join Annie\, on Saturday\, November 16 from 9-10am. We will be hosting a free class that's open to the public to support Veterans Yoga Project during their 6th Annual Veterans Gratitude Week. Donations are welcome and will be given to the Veterans Yoga Project. Veterans Yoga Project is an educational and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of military veterans. Working in partnership with veterans\, active-duty military personnel\, student veterans' organizations\, and other non-profit organizations\, VYP-trained instructors teach over 100 free yoga classes each week for veterans and their families. By providing support to all veterans\, whether they are currently struggling with severe symptoms\, or they are focused on increasing resilience and giving back to others\, Veterans Yoga Project is doing its part to serve those who have served. Veterans Yoga Project teaches self-regulation skills. Our Mindful Resilience/Mindful Yoga Therapy program consists of five tools: Breath\, Meditation\, Mindful Movement\, Guided Rest\, and Gratitude. These practices are adapted and delivered to maximize their ability to undo the nervous system dysfunctions that underlie symptoms of stress-related conditions. More information can be found at www.veteransyogaproject.org If you're unable to attend but would still like to donate\, please follow the link below. https://secure.veteransyogaproject.org/np/clients/veteransyogaproject/campaign.jsp?campaign=46&
