His commitment and love for the City of Niceville have made him a legendary figure in local government\, earning him the distinction of being the fifteenth-longest-serving Mayor in recorded American history.\n\n\n\nCity Manager\, David Deitch\, shared his thoughts on this historic dedication: "Mayor Wise's service to our city was nothing short of extraordinary. His dedication to improving the lives of our residents and his tireless efforts to make Niceville a better place will forever be remembered.
