SUMMARY:Audition Workshop - Musical Comedy
DESCRIPTION:An audition workshop for the summer musical production of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" will be held Saturday\, April 30th at 10:00 am on the Niceville campus of Northwest Florida State College in the Art Wing\, (building 110\, Room 328)\, of the college's Mattie Kelly Arts Center.  The audition workshop is free and open to community members and students in order to help participants better prepare for the show's May 2 open auditions (see below). The comedy will be presented July 13 to 16 in the Mainstage Theater of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center. \n\n \n\nThose who wish to participate in the April 30 workshop should prepare a 16-bar excerpt from standard musical theatre repertoire (other than the show "Forum") in order to receive the most benefit from the workshop.  Individuals are also welcome to participate only as observers.  Pre-registration is not required.
