SUMMARY:40th Annual Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival
DESCRIPTION:I would like to welcome you to the 40th Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival.\n\nWhat we envisioned as a one day event to honor the mullet and what\n\nit meant to our forefathers and community has turned into a three day\n\ncelebration. It's no longer a festival\, but a happening. Our folks use it as\n\na family reunion\, a class reunion\, an annual meeting place for old friends\n\nand acquaintances\, and a Boggy Country party that lasts for three days!\n\n\n\nNiceville is a unique community with bayous\, Choctawhatchee Bay\, and\n\nthe Gulf of Mexico to the south\, and Eglin Reservation with 800 square\n\nmiles of protected forest land to the north. Our part of paradise includes\n\nactive duty military\, active civil service\, retired military\, retired civil\n\nservice\, a great work force of civilians and natives (commonly referred\n\nto as "fish heads"). The Mullet Festival is our opportunity each year to\n\nshowcase our community and to show what the "nice" in Niceville is all\n\nabout.\n\n\n\nOn behalf of the nine members of the Mullet Festival Committee and\n\nall the citizens of Niceville\, have a great festival and see you next year!\n\n\n\nLannie L. Corbin\n\nPresident\n\nBoggy Bayou Mullet Festival Committee
