Certainty Home Loans is excited to announce the inaugural Throw it Forward Disc Golf Tournament to be held on Tuesday, April 27th, at the Boggy Bayou Disc Golf Course.

This year’s fundraiser will benefit the CALM Organization, Inc. CALM provides emergency crisis aid to single moms and small children in Niceville. Unfortunately, their recent operational funding request of $2,000 was denied. We believe this creates a unique opportunity to rally together as a community to assist them with their funding shortage. The Tournament will tee off at 4 pm, and registration opens at 3 pm. Join us from 2-3 pm for a complimentary Newbie Clinic to get the feel of course, learn the rules, and practice your throw. The City of Niceville maintains the beautiful 18-hole course at the Mullet Festival Site on Hwy 85 N, directly beside the Dog Park. The Tournament will score only the front 9, but you are welcome to play all holes.

Prizes will be award to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Overall Winner, Young Gun (under 13, lowest score), and Putting Contest Winner. All ages and skills levels welcome! We have designed this event to be competitive for the experienced disc golfer while encouraging new players to give disc golf a try and learn more about the sport.

Everyone is welcome at this family-friendly event! Guests who are not playing in the tournament are invited to attend at no cost. There will be corn-hole, can-jam, and other games. Dine it Forward with the Café Rico food truck who will be onsite and available. Courtesy of Niceville’s own 3rd Planet Brewing, Drink it Forward keg beers will be available for a suggested donation.
